Holding virtual meetings
The government has passed legislation which allows local councils to hold meetings remotely using video conferencing tools. The National Association of Local Councils has issued guidance on the regulations and advice on how to hold remote meetings which the Parish Council will follow.
The Parish Council has made the decision to no longer hold its public events, including the Spring Clean Day planned for 5 April 2020 and the Annual Parish Assembly planned for 16 April 2020.
Decision making and transparency
Agendas and minutes will be published as normal. Remote meetings will be available for the public and press to join. All remote meetings will be recorded and will be made available on the Parish Council's website. For further information, please contact the Parish Clerk.
