Spring cleaning day

This is not a rant about those who make the annual little pick a virtual necessity, but rather a very big thank you to those who turned out on what proved to be another wet Sunday afternoon.

It would seem that Chichester District Council had their own litter pickers out the previous week, which is why it was somewhat surprising that, within two hours, we managed to fill the bags pictured in the photograph. It also confirms the need for our own litter pick.

The Parish Council would like to thank Helen Barlow, Annetta Bucknall, Gina Cooper, Richard Hitchcock, David Lee, David Mack, Hilary Walker, and Colin and Marianne Warner. Thanks, also, to Chichester District Council for providing us with the equipment.
