Westbourne Parish Allotment for Exercise and Recreation

Westbourne Parish Council is the sole managing trustee of the charity set up for the Westbourne Parish Allotment for Exercise and Recreation (Charity Commission number 365105). This is the recreation ground on Monk's Hill in Westbourne. Parish councillors are the Charity Trustees during their term of office. An annual meeting of the Charity Trustees is held every year. A governing document gives background to the land which was bought by the Parish Council in 1948, registered as a Village Green in 1969 and set up as a charity in 1974.
