Trees planted

To celebrate the Platinum Jubilee
Five new trees have been planted at the Common on Monk's Hill with funding from Chichester District Council to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. A further tree has been planted by Westbourne's Women's Institute to also mark this special occasion.
The trees replace the ash trees that were felled earlier in the year because of ash dieback and are as follows:
- 2 cedrus atlantica glauca, atlas cedar (conifer)
- 2 Metasequoia glyptostroboides, dawn redwood (conifer)
- 1 ulmus laevis, European white elm (Broad leafed)
- 1 sequoiadendron gigantium
