Attend a free talk on climate change

The headlines about the climate change crisis are scary, but there are practical things you can do to help reduce your impact on the environment.

Find out more at a Greening Westbourne talk on Tuesday 29 October by Margaret Enstone, senior sustainability officer at West Sussex County Council. It's at 7pm at the Meeting Place, North Street, and there will be cheese and wine too.

Margaret will give us as expert rundown on topics including:

  • how you can take action to help reduce climate change
  • what you can do to help prepare for the changes to come
  • the council's climate pledge and how to get involved

The council is urging West Sussex residents to pledge to take six actions: make low-carbon journeys, save water, pass on plastic, fight against food waste, shop locally and save energy.
