Resident consultation on speed limit changes to Foxbury Lane, Monk's Hiill and Whitechimney Row

The Parish Council would like to apply to West Sussex County Council for a reduction in the speed limit on the following roads:

  • Foxbury Lane: To reduce it from National Speed Limit to 40mph
  • Monk's Hill: To reduce the top section from the junction with Common Road from National Speed Limit to 40mph
  • Whitechimney Row: To reduce the short section where it is 30mph on the corner near Old Farm Lane to 20mph so the whole road is the same speed. An application has already been made to the County Council to reduce the speed limit on Old Farm Lane from National Speed Limit to 40mph.
As part of the application, the Parish Council must show that it has consulted with the local community and we would be grateful for your support in this matter.

If you would like to support the proposals or have any comments that you would like to be considered as part of the application to the County Council, please email clerk@westbourne-pc.gov.uk by Friday 1 March 2024.
